Publisher ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Fake Throw mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take a privacy-first approach: motion-sensor data is processed on your device and is never uploaded or stored on our servers.
Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the conditions below. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural.
While you can use most of the App without providing any Personal Data, we may collect the following when you use certain features or contact us:
Usage Data may include information such as your Device's operating system version, the version of the App you are using, session timestamps, language preference, and the outcome of game rounds. This is used to operate and improve the App.
If you make an in-app purchase, we may receive limited transaction data from Apple or Google (such as confirmation that a purchase occurred). We do not receive your full payment details.
We use the information we collect to:
Fake Throw reads your Device's accelerometer and gyroscope to detect swings, tosses, spins, G-force, rotation (RPM), and throw height. This sensor data is processed locally on your Device in real time and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We only receive the final numerical results of a game session (such as your score and peak metrics), not the raw motion stream.
We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share information in the following limited situations:
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase (Google) | Remote configuration, crash reporting, analytics | Anonymous usage data, crash diagnostics, app metrics |
| Apple / Google App Store | In-app purchases, app distribution | Transaction confirmation, account identifier |
These third parties may collect information governed by their own privacy policies. Links to third-party privacy policies can be found on their respective websites.
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Game results and leaderboard data are retained for the lifetime of your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Privacy Rights).
Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at Publisher's operating locations and the locations of our service providers. This means that your data may be transferred to โ and maintained on โ servers located outside of your state, province, country, or jurisdiction, where data protection laws may differ. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us so that we can delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of authentication tokens on your Device (via the platform's secure storage). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe our processing of your Personal Data violates the GDPR.
The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals as there is no industry-standard mechanism for mobile applications to do so. Where required by law, we honor opt-out preferences for targeted advertising or analytics.
